Meet The Team

With over 20 years of experience in mental health, Dylan has spent the last decade combining his passion for music with therapeutic practice — leading both group and one-to-one music-based sessions that inspire creativity and wellbeing.

Outside of his mental health work, Dylan is a radio presenter on Hailsham FM, where he hosts a weekly show called “The Alternative Slot,” featuring the best in new and classic indie and alternative music.

A long-time music producer and enthusiast, Dylan has been creating and teaching computer-based music using Ableton Live for more than 18 years. He studied computer music at Point Blank Music School, deepening his expertise in digital production and sound design.

Josh has been a practising musician for over 15 years, performing as lead singer and guitarist in bands and as a solo acoustic singer-songwriter in the folk-indie genre (artist name J. Weathers). He also has experience teaching music and facilitating creative projects in hospital and community settings.

For the past 2 years, Josh has worked in psychiatric hospitals using music to promote the wellbeing and recovery of inpatients in acute and forensic settings. He works with a wide range of people, including the acutely unwell, those in rehabilitation units, and elderly and dementia patients.

Drawing on his extensive lived experience of mental health challenges, Josh understands the unique healing power of music. With Community Through Sound, he brings this expertise to community and hospital settings across the local area.
